All Star Western #28
Just a quick post here to mention that my run on All Star Western starts with issue #28 that hit's the shelves this coming week.
I did some work on the title a year or so ago, on the back up '19th Century Stormwatch' strips, which I enjoyed immensely, & which one fine day I'll have to do a post on. This time, however, I'm working on the lead 'Jonah Hex' strip. For various scheduling reasons the first episode was split between myself & Fabrizio Fiorentino, with me pencilling & inking the first 12 pages & Fabrizio doing the remaining 10.
The 'tight as a drum' story is by Jimmy Palmiotti & Justin Gray, the cover (below) is by Darwyn Cooke. As you will be able to see from that cover image & the first few pages of my contribution, the story starts off in the present day, though before long Clint.. err, I mean 'Jonah' is back in the old west.
So pick up a copy, & tell anyone who is interested in good old fashioned action storytelling to go get themselves a copy too.
