D-Day: June 6th, 1944, mega post.

Unless you have been living on another planet for the last couple of weeks, you can't have failed to know that today marks the 70th anniversary of D-Day, the invasion of Nazi occupied Europe by the largest armada ever assembled.

I have been fortunate enough to be tasked with producing artwork on this subject on a few occasions, so to mark this anniversary in my own way, here's as much of that work as I could find. Sadly, a lot of the final colour files were lost forever when an external hard drive died on me a few months ago... who said computers make everything easier. These were done for children's educational non-fiction books.

As usual, all comments/questions are welcome.

Pandora:Trinity Of Sin, art dump.

Last year I was tasked with helping out on the book Pandora; Trinity Of Sin for DC comics. Initially this just entailed providing thumbnails/layouts for regular penciller Francis Portella, however, eventually this progressed to doing full art on a few pages of a couple of issues.

Presented here are a scans of some of the work I did. I have decided to do full colour scans so you can see how I have utilised my blueline print out technique. Those of you have followed this blog for a while will be no doubt familiar with my process, for those who aren't, take a look here, which explains it in detail. The scans are shown in no particular order, other than I have grouped the layouts, the pencils & the inks together. Any questions/comments are welcome.

More old stuff.

Everything I've worked on recently is covered by one embargo or another (either official, or self imposed), so as a result there's not been anything I can post. To stop this blog grinding to a complete halt, here's some scans of old pencils that I had on my hard drive. When I say 'old' I mean scarily old.. as in over a decade old... jeez.
