AutoAssembly: Transformers convention appearance.

Hello, just a quick post to let you all know that I'll be putting in an appearance at a Transformers Convention on Ausust 2nd. AutoAssembly looks set to be a fun filled one day event, with guests from all aspects of the Transformers scene (not just the comics) & dealers selling enough Transformers related gear to keep any 'Auto-head' happy!
I'll be making a dramatic (cough*) entrance onto the stage at some point in the day, accompanied by rousing music... think WWE but with less muscles! If anyone has any suggestions as to what my entrance theme should be... I'm all ears! Suggestions for 'Simply The Best' will be considered, while 'Nellie The Elephant' will result in a flame war!
Anyway, I'll have what little pieces of Transformers artwork I have left for sale, & I will I'm sure be signing & sketching at some point too.

Dracula Update II

Here's another quick look at some of the Dracula pages. The note of interest on these is that for reasons of modesty the vampire chicks are gonna need a little extra material added to their dresses, so make the most of these boobs.. you won't be seeing them again..lol

Here's a cover I did recently for one of the Panini 'pocket book' editions. This is my take on a classic Avengers cover. Sowing here, the initial rough sketch, the pencil drawing & the final finished inked piece. Hope you like.

Dracula Update.

It's been a while since I posted any new art on here... what with all the Ebay nonsense an' all, so here's a quick update of the Dracula adaptation. This is the scene when Jonothan Harker sees the Count scaling the Castle walls, & should give you a good idea of how Dracula himself appears in this version. Hope you guys like it.

This weeks Ebay..

This week, on ebay, I'm offering up a host of DC 'Bat' stuff (Batman, Robin, Nightwing), they won't all be running for the full week.. some just for couple of days... some 5 days.
I'm also dipping my toe into a new online selling venture, on the site Etsy. Here, craftspeople of all kinds sell their handmade wares. So like thousands of others, I now have my own 'Etsy Shop' where I will be offering pages of comic art for sale. Like Ebay, payment is by PayPal or cheque, but unlike Ebay, it's not an auction site.. the pages on offer here are offered at a fixed price, & they will be listed for upto four months (unless they sell prior to that).

Transformers UK: Artwork Preview.

I recently made a return to the stamping ground where mycareer in comics pretty much started. That is to say, I briefly went back to drawing The Robots In Disguise. As you may probably know, the Autobots & Decepticons are much changed since I last drew them in 1990, (much due to the mega-budget live action movie... a hugely enjoyable film it is too,) & as such, they are a complete pain to draw (an explosion in a scrap yard, was how they appeared to me at first) but I am pleased with the finished result.
Anyway, here's a few of the pages. The finished strip is a 10 page story, which has beeen 'digitally inked' & colored, & will appear in issue #8 of the Titan published comic-magazine Transformers. The story's main robot character is Ironhide... who has changed a lot over the years.. when I last drew him, he was a red Transit Van... he's now a mean as f**K looking black 4x4, how times change..

Artwork On Ebay

After many years of avoiding the issue, I have finally decided to start selling artwork on the premiere online auction site, Ebay.
I'm just dipping my toe in the water at first, seeing how it goes.. but if you want to check out the initial pages offered up for sale go here.
There's 15 on offer, from Batman/Aliens II & Catwoman.
If this initial sale goes well, I intend to offer new pages up on a regular, if not weekly basis.

Interview on Transfans.net

As some of you may know, I used to earn a crust drawing the exploits of the Robots In Disguise in the Transformers UK comic. An what with the release of the mega-budget live action Transformers Movie imminent, now seemed a good time to agree to be interviewed about my time on the comic.

A New Post

Hi people,
It's been way too long since I have posted anything on here... mostly because I havn't had anything worth posting.
Anyway, I still don't have a mass of joyful news to brighten your day, but here's a Conan sketch I did this week while I was waiting for my daughters Tap Dance Class to finish... riveting, eh?
